The 2011 GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN, its Club of Ambassadors and its Jury warmly thank all the partners for their support to the design industry and to Québec’s creativity. It’s thanks to them that this event could happen!
Thank you to all our evening partners, especially Premium Valet Parking that, upon your arrival, took over from parking your car. Chapiteau National sheltered you while Foyers Stûv America made sure to keep you warm in music. These flights of lyricism perfectly fit into the Christmas setting offered by Mer de Champlain Vincy Stone, all in a sophisticated atmosphere produced by Spectre Sonore that also provided inside and outside lighting and sound.
Once inside, in a Vertuose plant design, you could enjoy the cocktail elaborated by our different caterers. Bière Boris quenched your thirst. While Bistro Cocagne offered you salty and sugary appetizers, you could taste the delicious antipasti concocted by Bistrot La Fabrique, while letting you seduced by the sparkling cider and calijo of Cidrerie Michel Jodoin. Chuchai and DIB Design have taken you to remote lands to taste Asian and Middle-Eastern delicacies. Whereas Jura brought you a little taste of Switzerland in the form of wine, coffee and biscotti, L’Escal-Traiteur decomposed particles to help you discover or rediscover molecular cuisine. Mélanie Adams and her team of waiters ensured a quick and skilfully service. In the main hall where signage was developed by Lamcom Technologies, Geneviève Moreau captured the highlights of the gala, while François Leclair photographed the lucky winners.
On stage, Extenzo and Les Charpentes Élite created stretched canvas on grandiose structures to produce a striking effect for a contemporary look. The winners could enjoy Meubles Re-No stage outfitting while receiving their trophy provided by Excalibur Industries and their Flowerbox gift.
